MARK- OCH MILJOKONTROLL AB

Our approach is based on the fact that expertise and documentation are essential for quality-assured work on ionizing radiation.

We rely on expertise, which is confirmed by the fact that MMK’s methods are documented in IAEA publications and SIS standards.

MMK has the expertise and capacity to give you the support you need in working with ionizing radiation!

Radiation - what does it mean?

The Radiation Protection Act (2018:396), the Work Environment Act (1977:1160) and the Planning and Building Act (2010:900) apply, which govern the work of the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority, the Swedish Work Environment Authority and the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning. With regard to radiation, these laws, or subsequently developed regulations, are based on decisions of the European Commission (2013/50 & 2013/59/Euratom).

This is the starting point for MMK’s work in measurement, investigation, design and measures in the field of radon & gamma radiation.

MMK’s measurement methods are the
only accredited in Sweden,
for testing construction products, quarries and existing buildings in accordance with the current Radiation Protection Act.
