MMK A2 610 is a Swedish accredited method developed by MMK to test the aggregate product in quarry according to the new radiation law in Sweden issued by Euroatom 2013/59.

TUNNELS, CAVERNS and MINES
MMK performs ionizing radiation control (radon and gamma radiation) of underground workplaces such as tunnels, caverns and mines.

MMK offers all property owners, property managers and private housing cooperatives our competence and knowledge within the radon and gamma radiation problem.
NEW CONSTRUCTIONS OF APARTMENT BUILDINGS AND PUBLIC BUILDINGS

WG3-meeting in Berlin
Technical Manager Tony Löfqvist at MMK represents SIS as Sweden’s radiation expert in the European WG3 and in the TG31 and TG32 working groups. The next WG3-meeting is in Berlin on May 14, 2018
Course in Armenia
Technical Manager Tony Löfqvist at MMK is contracted by the IAEA and has conducted courses on measurement, investigation and actions of radon in buildings. There were about 30 countries from Eastern Europe and Asia at the course which was conducted in Yerevan, Armeneien on the 23rd-28th of October 2017.
EU meeting in Madrid
Technical Manager Tony Löfqvist at MMK represented SIS as Sweden’s radiation expert at TK 497 at the EU-meeting in Madrid on the 21st-22st of March 2018.

MMK is the only accredited company in Sweden with the capacity to measure natural radioactive nuclides and ionizing radiation (radon and gamma radiation) in stone based construction products.
Experts at MMK’s technical department has developed and received accreditation for new leading measurement methods. These methods allow our customers and producers of construction materials to obtain prompt and accurate measurement results.
In cooperation with our international partners we developed the new measurement instruments necessary for these pioneering inventions.
The MMK’s accreditation is valid for testing construction material in all 36 member states of the European Accreditation Agency (EA) as well as in its 13 associate members.
MMK is a full-service company with radon competence, offering radon measurements, radon investigations, radon engineering and radon remediation. Our work always includes guarantee.
